Paralegal

Our Paralegal Program is accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) and combines specialized instruction and an intensive field-related practicum to prepare you for a career path in legal services. Our curriculum is designed to give you the skills and knowledge needed to pass the LSUC licensing exam to practice as an independent paralegal.

You’ll focus on the various areas of the law that you’ll encounter in your role as a licensed paralegal, including Corporate, Business, Tort, Contract, Real Estate, Family and Immigration Law. Courses in ethics, professional responsibility, advocacy and more will help give you the well-rounded knowledge needed to represent your clients in court. A 125-hour work placement gives you the opportunity to put your legal skills into practice, giving you the confidence, insight and experience you need to succeed in the future.
