Our Paramedic program prepares you to become a vital member of the health care team by providing emergency pre-hospital medical care. Our program focuses not only on the medical and patient care skills required but also prepares you physically and mentally for a career in a rewarding but demanding field.
Our program provides the theoretical and practical instruction to provide emergency medical care, assist victims of accidents and illness, safely transport patients to hospitals and provide ongoing emergency treatment after arrival at the hospital, as needed. Courses in anatomy, physiology, patient care skills and theory, fitness management and physical education are combined with 450 hours of clinical and field placements, so you graduate with the well-rounded knowledge, training and experience to pursue a fulfilling career.

The Ontario Learn and Stay Grant
The Ontario Learn and Stay Grant provides funding for priority programs in priority communities in Ontario, covering tuition, books, and direct educational expenses. Eligible students need to fulfill a service commitment by working in the region they studied in for a minimum of six months for every year of study funded. The grant is available for nursing, paramedic, and medical laboratory technology/medical laboratory science programs at eligible institutions.
